Unlock the Power of Mind and Body for True Self-Acceptance
In a world that often pressures us to be perfect, reconnecting with who you truly are can feel overwhelming. At The Mind and Body Coach, I specialise in helping you build a healthier relationship with food, your body, and yourself through a holistic, compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy.
Available online across the UK and in-person in Liphook, Hampshire.
Do You Feel Trapped by Thoughts About Food, Weight or Appearance?
You may find yourself constantly analysing your appearance, comparing yourself to others, obsessing about food, restricting what you eat, binge eating, exercising compulsively, or feeling that your self-worth depends on your body shape, weight or achievements.
Perhaps you've tried diets, exercise plans, self-help books or simply trying harder. Yet despite your efforts, the same patterns continue.
The problem is often deeper than food, weight or appearance alone.
Many people struggling with eating disorders, body dysmorphia or emotional eating carry a deep sense of shame, self-criticism or not feeling good enough. These difficulties often develop over many years and can become ways of coping with painful emotions, stress and relationships.
How I Can Help
I offer psychotherapy for adults experiencing:
Body Dysmorphia
Eating Disorders
Anorexia
Bulimia
Binge Eating
Emotional Eating
Body Image Difficulties
Low Self-Worth
Perfectionism
Anxiety and Self-Criticism
Together we explore not only the symptoms but also the emotional experiences and beliefs that may be driving them.
My aim is not simply to help you change behaviours, but to help you develop a more compassionate and stable relationship with yourself.
My Approach
I believe in treating the person, not the diagnosis.
My work integrates psychotherapy, attachment theory, Transactional Analysis, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychoanalytic thinking.
Alongside six years of psychotherapy practice, I bring over twenty-five years of experience in physical health, movement, exercise and wellbeing.
This allows me to understand the complex relationship between mind, body, self-image and behaviour from multiple perspectives.
Clients often describe me as honest, trustworthy, compassionate and willing to gently challenge patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
